The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) telah mengumumkan daftar lengkap nominasi Academy Awards ke-96 atau Piala Oscar 2024 pada Selasa 23 Januari 2024 malam waktu Indonesia.
Dalam pengumuman nominasi yang disampaikan Zazie Beetz dan Jack Quaid itu, Oppenheimer mendominasi, termasuk di kategori utama, seperti Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Adapted Screenplay, dan masih banyak lagi.
Begitu pula dengan Poor Things yang juga masuk dalam beberapa kategori utama, seperti Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress, Best Adapted Screenplay, dan lainnya.
Sementara itu, Barbie yang menjadi fenomena box office tahun ini hanya masuk nominasi Best Picture, Best Original Song, Best Supporting Actress, Best Adapted Screenplay, dan beberapa kategori teknis.
Malam puncak ajang Piala Oscar 2024 nantinya dihelat di Dolby Theatre, Los Angeles, 10 Maret 2024 waktu Amerika. Ajang tahun ini kembali dipandu Jimmy Kimmel untuk keempat kalinya. CNNindonesia
